About Spirit Life
Our Founders
I hold credentials to preach the gospel with the Assemblies of God. I’m also ordained as Senior Chaplain with the International Fellowship of Chaplains which includes certification and training in critical incident, death notification, search and rescue, and post traumatic stress disorder. I was also personally invited into the International Coalition of Apostles led by Dr. Peter Wagner and recognized as an apostle to the youth of this millennium.
Located in central Phoenix, Arizona, I am honored to serve as founder and Apostle at Spirit Life Church international. Since its inception in 2004, a small band of believers created a vibrant multi-cultural and family oriented ministry characterized by outstanding praise and worship.
Our five-fold team of elders blend vision, empowerment and relevancy for the purpose of connecting church and community.
I have founded many non-profits and for-profits and serve on the boards of community-based faith organizations, human rights efforts, social reform and religious ministries. My business skills and entrepreneurial efforts esteem the core values of “kingdom first” principles which exemplify teamwork, stewardship, accountability and integrity.
I want to cast a holistic solution for individual, family and community transformation by redefining ministry as “service unto God”, thereby encouraging Christian witness and purposeful living throughout the marketplace. No longer is ministry ordination limited to the clergy in temple service, but also to the professional, entrepreneur, educator, politician, entertainer, working class and domestic parent.
Most important of all of my accomplishments, is that I have now positioned myself to a place where I can spend quantative and quality time with my wife, Ceci, of 25 years and my adult children, Karla, Kristina and Bobby, the third. We currently make our residence in Scottsdale, AZ and think that it is the best place in the world to live.
Having been arrested for attempted murder and grand theft auto at eighteen years of age, I was converted to Christ in the San Francisco County Jail. God’s hand of mercy upon me during the eight months of deliberation that resulted in long term probation and a lessened conviction. I was inspired by the personal example and devoted ministry of three men; David Wilkerson, Nicky Cruz and Sonny Arguinzoni. Their work in reaching at-risk people along with their compassionate regard exceptionally influenced my early development which provided the theological template for my philosophy of ministry today.
